Bikes, Blues and Barbeque just wouldn't be the same without the barbeque. There's always a lot of food, and it takes a lot of work to get it cooked. Some vendors say they've been preparing for BB&BBQ for months. Bikers and spectators alike need a good hearty meal, and they'll find it on Dickson Street. Vendors sell everything from pulled pork and barbeque ribs to turkey legs. It's all made with a lot of pride and a lot of hard work. For at least one vendor, it's also about amusing the crowd. At the Hog Pen BBQ, you will leave full, and fully entertained, as one employee with a microphone encourages the crowd to stop on by for the food, and stay for the soulful music piping out of his tent. Dennis Forte with Hog Pen BBQ guarantees he'll sell no less than 13,000 pounds of barbeque this week.
