Lloyd Blansetts pit bull was picked up by animal patrol for biting someone. Blansett was told his dog could be picked up at the Sebastian County Humane Society within ten days. When Blansett went to go get his dog from the Humane Society, they told him his dog must have been stolen. "I said how can she be stolen and they said sir, anyone can just walk in and go back there and get in the cage..and get a dog out. I said really? I have been here for two hours and you told me I couldnt go back there without a dog technician." said Lloyd Blansett. Blansett also says a Humane Society employee said the dog was stolen. "He said dont tell nobody, I dont want to get in trouble but, I dont want to snitch on my friends but, your dog she has been stolen" said Lloyd Blansett. Sebastian County Humane Society, President, Joann Barton says the dog must have escaped. "I think the dog got out, I reallly do. I know that pit bulls are really smart. We have had other ones get out before in the kennels..i think they get their little paws and stick it it up and jimmy the lock and get out" said Joann Barton. Animal warden, Joseph Kaelin, says once they pick up the dog Its then the Humane Societys responsibility. "I picked up the dog brought it here to the humane society and place it in the kennels and latched the kennels. So it couldnt get out" said Animal Warden, Joseph Kaelin. Now, no one knows where this dog is and the Blansett family just wants their dog back at home and is offering a reward for anyone that knows about the disappearance of his dog. The pit bull is a gray and white female.
