Capital Murder Convict Released

A man found guilty of murdering a Healing Springs woman is out of prison. Roger Dale Barrett was originally convicted on capital murder charges but was granted a new trial after the Arkansas Supreme Court upheld a Circuit Court Judges decision to give Barrett a new trial due to Barretts then attorney doing a poor job on the case.
