Three rural fire departments in Washington County are benefitting from a state grant. The Rural Fire Protection Program presented the Johnson, Goshen and Morrow departments with a total of more than $13,000. The stations will split the cash. Johnsons department will receive $3,506, Goshen will get $4,750, and $5,000 will go to the Morrow Fire Department. Fire chiefs say the money will go to buying the essentials, like hoses, radios and fire truck equipment.
