The Razorbacks came onto the field tonight with more reasons to win than usual. Not only is it the last time some of them will play on this field, but it's also Frank Broyles last home game as head of the athletic department. "I imagine Nutt will yell 'let's do this one for Frank' before he heads out there," hog fan Cameron King says. The University of Arkansas, as well as former coaches and players paid tribute to Broyles during half-time, giving him a gift that will live on long after he steps down-- The Frank Broyles Field at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback stadium. Hog fans agree his retirement marks the end of an era. "I'm saddened by it, because of the fact that he has done so much for the University of Arkansas," says Len Bauman, President of the Ft. Smith Razorback Club. "It's surreal kind of, because growing up a hog fan you always knew Frank Broyles was there and now he's not so it's going to be surreal I think," says George Waddell. "He's the CEO of athletics. He's found a way to do things in the state of Arkansas that I don't think very many other people could ever do and he's going to be a guy that's going to be severely missed," says former hog football player Greg Miros. "I think we need to inject probably some new blood. I hope he stays around which I think he will and give input, because I think he could be very valuable to us in the future. He's going to out live all of us I'm sure," says alumni Jeff Hildebrand.
