Petition Needs Signatures for Lottery to Make Ballot

Those interested in supporting a state lottery in Arkansas are being asked to sign a petition to get it on the ballot next year. Attorney General Dustin McDaniel has already certified the proposed constitutional amendment approving the lottery if voters say they want one. The proposal now needs the signatures of more than 77,000 registered voters by early July.
