An Arkansas soldier has been killed in Iraq.
Specialist Matthew Reece of Harrison, Arkansas died Saturday when an IED detonated near his vehicle in Baghdad.
Spc. Matthew K. Reece, 24, of Harrison, Ark., was a grenadier in 1st Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Abn. Division.
Spc. Reese is survived by his wife, Chauntelle Reece, of Oak Grove, Ky.; his daughter, Alyssa, of Jasper Ark.; his son Teagan, of Oak Grove, Ky.; his father Preston Reece, of Harrison, Ark.; and his mother Tammy Vanderwaal, of Jasper, Ark.
