Artist Patrick Dougherty is dedicating one of his famous "stickworks" on the brick entryway into the WAC today.
Dougherty has constructed more than two hundred wood sculptures around the world.
He and volunteers gathered sticks around the area -- then wove them together.
"I wanted to make dramatic figures that fit with the drama the theater that was going on in the building and so this was the result of our three week effort," says artist Patrick Dougherty.
The sculpture is part of the WAC's Artosphere festival.
