Updated: June 6, 2012
Officials at Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport (XNA) are recommending The Harper Co. as the contractor to make repairs to the main runway, according to Airport Director Kelly Johnson.  Now it's up to the airport's board to make the final approval on the $26.1666 million contract.

The board will meet June 13 where they will officially be asked to approve the bid, according to Johnson.  Airport officials hope to begin construction by late-Summer or early-Fall.
