Stage Collapse
Terrifying moments at a Radiohead concert when scaffolding-like metalwork, towering 50 feet above this stage, came crashing down. The horrifying scene unfolded just one hour before crowds were set to pack in for a Radiohead concert in Toronto. While most of the crew members escaped, three were injured. Radiohead's rep confirms the band's drum tech was killed after being pinned under the structure.
"Madagascar 3"
Alex the Lion and the rest of the Madagascar gang reigned as the king of the box office this Father's Day weekend. The animated "Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted" held on to the top spot for a second week with 35.5 million dollars.
Sandusky Trial
The defense has begun telling its side of the story in the child sex abuse trial of Jerry Sandusky. Attorneys for the former Penn State assistant football coach opened with a fellow coach, who described Sandusky's good reputation in the community. Earlier in the day, prosecutors called to the stand an alleged victim's mother, who said her son often came home without underwear, but she never asked why. Testimony ended early Monday because of what they judge called "technical issues" involving jurors. The judge says closing arguments may begin as early as Thursday.
Zimmerman Update
Officials in Florida have released documents related to George Zimmerman's case, including six phone calls to his wife, Shellie. In the recordings, the Zimmermans can be heard discussing the family's finances. Bank statements showing money transfers between the pair's accounts were also released. Prosecutors say it is all proof the two lied about how much money they had. Zimmerman's bond was revoked after prosecutors presented the evidence to the judge. His wife was arrested on perjury charges. George Zimmerman is charged with shooting and killing Trayvon Martin, an unarmed teenager, in February.
Roger Clemens
It's a not guilty verdict for former baseball star Roger Clemens. A federal jury of eight women and four men acquitting Clemens on all six counts of lying to congress. The perjury charges stemming from testimony he gave in 2008 when the seven-time CY Young winner denied using human growth hormone and steroids. Clemens' first trial last year resulted in a mistrial over prosecutorial misconduct just two days into testimony. A guilty verdict could have sent the 49 year old to prison for up to thirty years.
