120 tons of tomatoes and an annual excuse to make a massive mess . These are Wednesday's Over the Edge stories.

About 40,000 half-naked people hurling squashed tomatoes at each other in Spain. Many people wore goggles or hats to protect themselves, which probably doesn't help much!

A surprise guest joined the set in a newsroom in Canada. A bat flew behind the anchor as he delivered the news, then flew around the studio as several employees tried to catch him. One clever employee opened an exit door for the winged creature and he eventually found a way out.

Explaining how to use Facebook to your parents can be hard enough, but what about to a 101-year-old? That's not necessary for this woman; she's the oldest registered Facebook user and she's been using the site for two years now! Her story went viral, and she now has over 1,000 Facebook friends!
