Racers in three categories competing in a series of sprints, accumulating points over two days. The wet ground posing some slippery challenges. Racers say they are hoping for dryer weather in 2013.

More than 13,000 Chinese martial artists showed off their skills Sunday. The youngest performer was just seven years old and the average age of the group was 15. Athletes from 73 countries are in China for an international martial arts festival. This spectacle was all part of the opening ceremony.
