An amazing shot lands one team in the winning seat, and a volcano is giving tourists a sight to see. Here is Monday's edition of "Over the Edge News".

During a high school game in New York, a player intercepted a pass to score the winning basket from a whopping 55 feet out. The opponent was in the lead by one shot, and with only 2.9 seconds left on the clock,  the underdog pulled out this amazing shot, winning the game.

Here's a different kind of "angry birds". Geese are notorious for being bullies, this guy in California experienced this first hand. They got feisty when he started playing paparazzi. Those beaks may be small, but that doesn't make them any less scary.

A volcano in Russia, producing stunning images of lava flows oozing through a snowy wilderness. After being dormant for more than thirty years, the volcano shows no signs of falling back asleep. The volcano is spewing up ash but is not a danger to anyone living nearby.
