A panda cub takes it's first steps and some brides stock up on deals. It's time for Friday's edition of "Over the Edge".
A couple of car jackers who steal a car from a local parking lot in Denver get much more than they bargained for. A suburban filled with reptiles was found abandoned just a day after it was stolen from a Walmart parking lot. The man who owns the car travels around to schools, educating and entertaining kids with his 15 reptiles, including a thirteen-foot python, tarantulas and lizards. Some camping equipment was stolen out of the car but the owner is just happy all the animals are safe.
The San Diego Zoo's panda cub, showing his paws are made for walking. The eleven-week old giant panda cub was trying to waddle off the examining table during his physical. The boy cub could raise his front legs to try to inch forward but his rear legs are not strong enough to support his weight, yet. Vets say in a few months, the little guy may get a chance to venture in the exhibit as he makes progress.
Here come the brides, and you'd better stand clear because these women are stampeding. The line outside Loehmann's in New York formed last night with the lure of a big deals on designer wedding dresses. At the "Grab a Gown" event, dresses that retail for as much as $11,000 were going for under a grand.
