BCS Shakeup
The number one team on Saturday, Kansas State, lost in a blowout to Baylor. Just moments later, the number two team, Oregon, also lost. So on Sunday night, the new rankings were released with Notre Dame assuming the top spot in the BCS for the first time in history. If the season ends now, they'll face last year's champ, Alabama, for a shot at the National Championship.
The Wii U
Nintendo launched its new game console Sunday. According to Nintendo, the machine is designed to appeal to the original Wii's casual audience and the hardcore gamers who skip work to play games at home. But it's still designed to appeal to people of all ages. The Wii U starts at $300 and players can use the game-pad, which is a tablet-like gaming system, or a traditional remote.
Twinkie
Hostess' most famous treat could still survive the company's bankruptcy filing. The tasty treats are expected to be sold off in pieces to other companies with some bidders ready to pony up the cash for the recipe and the name. But if you stocked up recently, you could be sitting on a spongy, gold-mine! Thousands of boxes of Twinkies are popping up on ebay with sellers hoping to cash in.
Walmart Fights Back
The world's largest retailer is responding to threats from workers that they will walk out on Black Friday. The company has filed a complaint with a federal agency, accusing one of the largest labor unions in the country of unlawfully organizing picket lines, in-store flash mobs, and other demonstrations in the past six months. The walkout builds on an October strike when union-backed groups demonstrated outside the retailer's Northwest Arkansas office.
MC Hammer
The rapper made a triumphant return to pop music last night with Korean sensation Psy. The two performed a mashup of "Gangnam Style" and "Too Legit to Quit".
