A slide on the football field is going to cost one NFL star thousands and forget Justin Beiber! This morning, it's all about New Kids On the Block.

These are your Top Trenders this morning.

Number 5: Boy band lovers are going to have the summer of a lifetime.

The New Kids On the Block announced they're hitting the road for a U.S. tour with 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men.

The tour will follow the release of New Kids' latest album. The group's first in more than four years.

It drops April 2nd.

The tour kicks off May 31st in Connecticut.

Number 4: Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will have to pay up for an aggressive slide in Sunday's AFC's championship game.

The NFL has fined Brady $10,000 for the offense.

On first-and-goal near the end of the second quarter, Brady was forced out of the pocket. He ran for three yards but slid before he could be tackled.

As he slid, he raised his right leg and kicked a defender in the thigh.

Number 3: A defiant North Korea is threatening more nuclear tests and calling the U.S. its sworn enemy.

The country also claims it will carry out more long range rocket launches as part of a new phase of confrontation with the United States.

This comes just after the U.N. Security Council passed a resolution condemning North Korea's rocket launch from last year.

Number 2: A New Mexico state legislator is under fire for a proposal critics say could lead to felony charges against rape victims seeking an abortion.

But the lawmaker maintains the bill is being misrepresented.

Republican Representative Cathrynn Brown says the measure was intended to target perpetrators of rape or incest who try to cover their tracks by forcing victims to have abortions.

However, some lawmakers say the language in the bill is poorly worded and seems to say rape victims could be charged.

Brown says she will clarify the language to remove any ambiguity.

Number 1: A federal ban on assault weapons.

"Once you have been through one of these episodes. Once you see what the crime scene is like, it isn't like the movies. It changes your view of weapons," Senator Dianne Feinstein told reporters Thursday.

The Democratic lawmaker wants to outlaw some assault rifles and semi-automatic weapons, and ban some high-capacity ammunition magazines.

The proposed federal gun ban upgrades an assault weapons ban that expired in 2004, but this time, it has no expiration date.

The legislation faces strong opposition from gun rights advocates who believe the weapons are needed for protection.
