Changes Could Be Coming to the Pentagon in Tuesday's Edition of "The Pulse"

An attack in Mexico and changes could be coming to the Pentagon. Here is Tuesday's edition of "The Pulse".

Same Sex and the Pentagon
The Pentagon is expected to make changes in its benefits policy for same-sex couple. The agency will reportedly begin granting same-sex spouses of service members benefits that have been blocked. Those include housing on military bases, military ID cards, and consideration of a same-sex spouse and family in duty assignments.

Acapulco Attack
Six spanish women say they were raped after they were tied up by a group of hooded gunmen. It happened in Mexico's beach resort town of Acapulco on the pacific coast. The victims are now under the protection of the Mexican authorities who are investigating the case.

Alabama Kidnapping
Police are learning more information about the bizzarre kidnapping of a young boy in Alabama. The FBI says they used drones over the hostage site in order to watch the bunker around the clock. Police say the kidnapper was openly conversational with police until Sunday when negotiations broke down  They say they were able to see what was going on inside the underground bunker with a camera that they somehow slipped into the hideout. The 5-year old is doing well and is being monitored at the hospital.

North Korea
North Korea's plans for a nuclear test are a mystery and have many Americans worried. The North says the higher level test is part of its military deterrent in its confrontation with the US.

Lindsey Vonn Injury
Olympic gold medal skier Lindsey Vonn was injured during a race in Austria. Vonn was airlifted to a hospital for treatment after what's described as a "serious crash."
