Johnson County Deputy Arrested, Now On Administrative Leave

Sgt. Glenda Morrison of the Johnson County Sheriff's Office was arrested on Friday, February 22, 2013 on a charge of perjury.
According to Chief Deputy Jerry Dorney, the warrant was served by the Arkansas State Police and Sgt. Morrison was processed in at the Johnson County Detention Center.
Chief Deputy Dorney tells FOX 24 that Sgt. Morrison appeared before District Judge Len Bradley and has been released on an O.R. bond.
Sgt. Morrison has been placed on administrative leave with pay pending the outcome of these allegations.
Her court date is scheduled for March 15 in front of Circuit Judge John Cole on assignment by the Supreme Court of Arkansas.
