Castro Stepping Down
Cuba's president, Raul Castro, announcing he will resign in 2018. That's when his second term as president is set to end. Castro was officially elected president back in 2008.
Andy Samberg Getting Hitched
Comedian Andy Samberg is getting hitched. A rep for the former SNL star says Samberg is engaged to singer-songwriter Joanna Newsom. The two began dating five years ago.
Forced Budget Cuts
The Obama administration, putting pressure on congress to stop forced budget cuts.
Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, saying the sequestration would be harmful to our nation's security and economy. The cuts will go into effect friday if lawmakers cannot agree on a spending plan.
Blizzard
A blizzard, hitting the Texas panhandle Monday. Things got so bad, theTexas Department of Transportation actually pulled its plows off the roads. Parts of colorado, also getting hit, ending up with more than nine inches of snow.
85th Annual Academy Awards
A galaxy of stars graced the red carpet in Hollywood Sunday night for the Oscars. Les Miserables took home three awards, Life of Pi, taking home four, and Daniel Day Lewis became the first person to win three times in the leading actor category.
