After a rough, long, physical practice that saw not one, but TWO fights amongst Hog teammates, the Razorbacks needed a break.
Or a ball.
Ryan Mallett - "I'm sweating hard like I am in practice!"
The entire Arkansas football team split up Thursday and headed to the Fayetteville Boys and Girls Club, the Jones Center, and the Richardson Center to have fun with kids.
Ray Dominguez - "Not everyone has that leave-it-to-Beaver kind of family, so, just having something like this, somewhere to go to after school, it's really nice."
D.J. Williams - "We all know where we came from, and we'll never forget that, and we understand what we've been blessed with, and it's our job to give back."
But the event was also about having fun... with TEAMMATES.
Question - "So the million-dollar question... who's the best dodgeball player on the Razorback football team?"
Adrian Davis - "So far, I think it's Ryan Mallett. You know, he's got that little arm, the gun-slinger, he's hitting everybody out there."
Question - "Do you notice the defensive linemen and offensive linemen running away from you? They seem a little scared."
Ryan Mallett - "They were trying to get into a little group and protect themselves, but we went and got them. We went and got after them."
They got after each other. And made an impression on kids that will hopefully last a lifetime.
Mallet - "I personally looked up to athletes when they came and talked to us, and hung out with us, and so I hope these guys do the same thing."
