Memorial Ride Planned in Honor of Chief Joe Landers

Lowell Police Chief Joe Landers will be laid to rest Friday.

There will be a memorial service starting at 10:30 a.m. at Fellowship Bible Church in Rogers.

Before the service, Landers' family, friends and anyone wanting to pay their respects will gather for a memorial ride.

People interested in joining the ride should meet in the parking lot of the old Sportsman's Warehouse at 8:45 Friday morning.

Landers was killed by a drunk driver while on vacation in Panama City, Florida.
