University of Arkansas junior kicker Zach Hocker was named SEC tri-Special Teams Player of the Week, it was announced Monday.

Hocker was 7-of-7 on PAT attempts and averaged 64.9 yards on eight kickoffs with six touchbacks in the Razorbacks' 49-7 weather-shortened victory over Kentucky last Saturday. Hocker tied his single-game career-high totals for PATs made and touchbacks before the game was terminated with 5:08 remaining in the 3rd quarter due to inclement weather in Fayetteville.

This season, Hocker leads the NCAA with his average of 65.17 yards per kickoff. The Russellville, Ark., native also leads the SEC and ranks fourth in the country with his touchback percentage of 72.22, and his 26 touchbacks rank second in the conference and tied for sixth in the nation.

Hocker is the SEC's active career leader and ranks eighth among active NCAA kickers with 135 PATs made. He also ranks second among active SEC players and 12th among active NCAA players with 261 career points. His career average of 7.9 points per game leads all active SEC kickers, is the sixth-highest average among active kickers in the NCAA and is the 10th-highest average among all active players in the country.

This is the fourth time this season and second week in a row Arkansas has been recognized with a player of the week nod from the conference.

Arkansas has a bye this week before returning to the field Oct. 27 when the Razorbacks host Ole Miss at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.
