Investigators say Duffy shot himself while sitting in his car early Wednesday morning after firing two rounds at Rogers Police Officer Corporal Pollock during a routine stop.
Captain Mike Sydoriak with the Benton County Sheriff's Office said Duffy was tracked down a couple hours later at his girlfriend's house near War Eagle Mill.
In this video, you can see Madison County deputies surround Duffy in his car.
"They were able to force him off the road, they boxed him in, they had him raise his hands which he complied and next thing they heard were two gunshots, and his hands dropped."
Police said Duffy shot himself twice with a .357 caliber handgun he had stolen from his dad's pickup truck the night before.
