GE Brightest Classroom Sept 13

Mrs. Silva's 2nd grade class at Williams Elementary in Farmington was awarded as our first GE & KNWA Brightest Classroom this month. Mrs. Silva's class won a $500 gift card to Walmart, and decided as a class to give their entire gift card to the Samaritan Community for their Snack-Pack for Kids program that provides back packs filled with snacks each weekend to thousands of children in Northwest Arkansas who would not otherwise have a meal during the weekend. Mrs. Silva's class donation of the $500 Walmart gift card will provide 300 snack-packs for students at Williams Elementary in Farmington.
