They're already gifted and talented and now, they're the best in the state!

The Fayetteville Public School's Gifted & Talented Education program has been named the Outstanding GT Program in Arkansas for school districts with enrollment of 3,000 or more.

The honor was given at the 2013 AGATE (Arkansans for Gifted & Talented Education) Conference in Little Rock on February 21.

According to a Fayetteville Public Schools spokesperson, this marks the sixth time the FPS program has received this award.

That's more than any other school district in Arkansas!

In the photo above, you can see Barbara Prichard, director of the FPS Gifted and Talented program, accepting the award from Mary Kathryn Stein from the Arkansas Department of Education.
