Fayetteville-- The latest renderings of the proposed parking deck in downtown Fayetteville have been released. The city received feedback on the multi-million dollar project in an input session Tuesday night. The project will be designed to help with parking headaches in the entertainment district around Dickson Street, by adding around 250 parking spots. Several options were presented Tuesday night. One goal in mind for the city is to keep the project environmentally friendly. That could also include adding a storm water system to the parking deck. The design now heads to the planning commission. Meanwhile, the city will start interviewing construction managers and hopes to have one chosen by the end of March. Construction is set to start in the fall and will take a little over a year to complete. It will cost just over six million dollars.
