Coca-Cola Jobs
Announced Thursday, a little more than one-percent of Coca-Cola's workforce in the US will be lost because of cut backs. That doesn't sound like much, but that equals to about 750 jobs lost. However, that's not as bad as Coke's rival, Pepsi, which announced last year it would cut nearly 9,000 jobs worldwide by 2014.

Historic Discovery
History uncovered at the bottom of the Atlantic ocean as scientists carefully recovered two rocket engines from the Apollo space missions. The deep water expedition was funded by the head of Amazon.com. The serial numbers on the engines have worn away so it's hard to tell which missions the engines launched.

Yoko's Tweet
A tweet made by the late John Lennon's wife, Yoko Ono, circling social media. Ono tweeted the photo Wednesday, which would have marked the couples 44th anniversary. The anti-gun message is paired with an image of the former Beatle's blood-stained glasses. The british rocker was gunned down in front of his new york city apartment where ono still lives.

Sequester Delay
In Washington, lawmakers in the house of representatives, passing a bill to fund the federal government through the end of September.
Failure to come to an agreement before next Wednesday would have led to a partial shutdown of federal agencies and programs. The legislation now goes to President Obama to be signed into law.

Obama in Israel
It's day two in the Middle East for President Obama as he spends time meeting with the leaders of each country, hoping to agree on a peaceful future. Two rockets launched from Gaza hit southern Israel as the president visits the west bank to talk about the stalled Israeli-Palestenian peace process. The president remains optimistic that if both sides resume talks, they can reach an agreement that will benefit the entire region.
