The last half of the top 20 girls headed to Las Vegas for their turn to hit the jackpot, hoping to impress the judges, like last weeks ladies.

"The bar is pretty high from the girls last week but I know we've got some amazing singers in there so I think what we're going to see is really great diversity," says judge Keith Urban.

"The first batch of girls that we saw were so amazing and so star studded, the bar is definitely high so these girls are going to have to come like they singing for their life," says judge Nicki Minaj.

Slugged the "sudden death" rounds, where only half of the 10 gals move on to sing again and for the judges it's never easy to pick only five.

"Once again like last week some good singers didn't quite make it. It's a hard task but I think America is going to have a great cast in front of them to chose from," says judge Randy Jackson.

Despite getting praise from the judges Rachel Hale from Prescott, Arkansas did not make it through to the top 20.
