Two Teens Arrested in Rogers Shooting Investigation

Rogers Police have arrested two teens in connection with a shooting investigation.
According to the Rogers Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of South 15th Street and West Cypress Street on February 22 at around 11:52 p.m.
Investigators said a juvenile male reported he was travelling east bound in the 2200 block of West Walnut Street in a 2000 white Dodge Charger when a black vehicle pulled beside him. The driver reported hearing a "pop" and the rear passenger window of his vehicle breaking. The juvenile followed after the suspect vehicle, identified as a 1995 black Nissan Pathfinder, and was able to obtain the license plate number of the vehicle. The juvenile then reported the incident to the police.
Police said during a search of the vehicle, they located a bullet hole in the top right side of the driver's seat. Officers were able to recover what is believed to be a .45 caliber round from the seat. Neither the driver or his passenger were injured during the shooting.
After investigation, Douglas Joe Blake Huston, 18 of Rogers, and Robert Aaron Thomas, 18 of Rogers, were arrested and are facing charges of Attempted Capital Murder- Class A Felony, Terroristic Act- Class B Felony, and Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm from a Vehicle-Class B Felony.
Thomas is also facing additional charges of Driving While Intoxicated, Minor in Possession, and Possession of Instrument of a Crime.
Both Huston and Thomas are being held at the Benton County Sheriff's Office awaiting a bond hearing.
