A Canadian country singer came to Kirby's Cupcakes on Monday to conquer Goliath. Jason McCoy is determined to conquer all sorts of food in Northwest Arkansas.

"Goliath is one cupcake that is equal to 22 cupcakes," said co-owner, Lisa Hastings. "He'll have to keep it down for five minutes. If he does, he gets on our wall of fame and if he doesn't, he'll be on our wall of shame."

It's all part of CMT Canada's show "Jason McCoy Eats America." A series of episodes where the star literally devours his way through the United States. Bite by bite. This time, he's stopped in Rogers, Arkansas.

"Being Canadian, we just wanted to discover America in a whole different way," said McCoy.

Even though Jason didn't finish all of Goliath, he said it's more about meeting the people Northwest Arkansas than eating delicious food.

"It's always about the people," said McCoy.

"More than anything, we just love on everybody that comes in. Everybody that walks through that door is kirby's family," said Lisa.

So even folks from up north can leave with a Southern sense of hospitality and a little something sweet.
