"With all of the art...It's an unusual museum with hotel rooms," says Bob McCaslin, mayor of Bentonville.
A disco ball lights up the lobby.
A basketball tree protrudes from the patio.
And a few sets of eyes follow your every move.
"It's a game changer for sure," McCaslin says.
The "21C" museum hotel opens its doors in Bentonville, giving folks a place to stay.
And a place to stare.
"A big part of what we do is to have wonderful artworks that are curated and rotating through all of our public space," says Craig Greenberg, president of 21C Hotels.
A public space that's open 24-7, showcasing creativity at its finest.
"It's been really fun to see people embrace the 21C concept," Greenberg says.
Mayor McCaslin says he's heard a couple folks describe the hotel as 'sexy' and 'quirky'.
A unique lodging destination with plenty to look at.
"Art drives commerce, so this is a new type of commerce for Northwest Arkansas, and it's a welcomed type of commerce for Northwest Arkansas," McCaslin says.
Bentonville becomes the third city worldwide to house a 21C hotel, joining Louisville, Ken. and Cincinnati Ohio.
"Crystal Bridges was the first thing that attracted us," Greenberg says.
Crystal Bridges Director Don Bacigalupi is glad to see it open: "We think it's great to have this much art on the square."
"It adds another possibility to the art tour of the Northwest Arkansas region," Bacigalupi says.
In addition to the high-quality art, guests can expect that same kind of value if they choose to stay the night.
"Wonderful, very comfortable, contemporary rooms," Greenberg says.
"Wonderful natural light, and all the amenities you'd expect from a first-class hotel."
A mansion.  Full of masterpieces.
Greenberg adds: "That's what 21C is."
