Through the Assistants Eyes - Move from Missouri to Arkansas
Updated: March 5, 2013
The Arkansas Razorback Basketball team is in Columbia, Missouri tonight to take on the Missouri Tigers in the final road contest of the regular season for Mike Anderson's team.
It also marks the return of coach Anderson and his staff to Missouri since they left to take the Arkansas job in 2011. Anderson is expected to hear lots of boos tonight from the Tiger faithful and he says he will take that in stride but what about his assistant coaches.
The four coaches made the move to Fayetteville with only two of them knowing what to expect, former Razorback guard and nephew of Anderson, TJ Cleveland and former manager and Arkansas native Matt Zimmerman.
The other two assistant head coach Melvin Watkins and director of basketball operations Jeff Daniels had no experience in the natural state, so for them the move was made with complete confidence knowing their boss was making the right move.
Adam Alter is in Columbia, Missouri and has more on the move through the coaches eyes.
