Children in Bentonville tapped into their creative side to re-new some worn out books Tuesday afternoon.

Kids at the Bentonville Public Library's Altered Books workshop created new book covers out of construction paper, giving new life to titles that would otherwise be removed from the library shelves.

The workshop was open to kids in the first through fourth grades.
