It's biggest shopping day of the year for the largest retailer in the world.
"As you can imagine this is a very exciting time at Walmart. This is a big week for us leading up to Black Friday really kicking off the whole Christmas shopping season," says Kory Lundberg, a spokesperson for Walmart.
"As you can imagine this is a very exciting time at Walmart. This is a big week for us leading up to Black Friday really kicking off the whole Christmas shopping season," says Kory Lundberg, a spokesperson for Walmart.
And the Black Friday openings are bleeding into Thanksgiving Day, this year earlier than ever.
"We've really got it broken up into three events so it starts at 8pm."
That part, focused on gifts for the family like toys, home items and clothing.
Then at 10 p.m. their breaking out the digital deals, iPads, tvs, all with a little bit different spin.
"A lot of times customers there's this frustration when they go and want to buy this great hot item for Black Friday and there's three in the store."
And nothing is worse than waiting in line with a turkey coma just to go home empty handed.
"We have for the first time ever guaranteed products so if you come in and you want an iPad 2 or you want a 32 inch tv or a Blu-ray dvd player and you're in line between 10 and 11 you're guaranteed to have that product under your tree come Christmas."
So that leaves room for a less cut throat shopping experience.
"Do have a good time, I mean it is a lot of fun being in the stores on Black Friday."
