Fiscal Cliff Talks Dominate Wednesday's Edition of "The Pulse"

Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis announced Wednesday that he will retire at the end of this season, closing one of the greatest careers in NFL history. Sunday likely will be Lewis' final game in Baltimore even if the Ravens win because of their No. 4 seed entering the playoffs.

Hillary Clinton
Secretary of state Hillary Clinton has been discharged from a New York hospital after spending three days being treated for a blood clot. Staffers said she has been communicating by phone and doctors said she is expected to make a full recovery.

Paparazzo Killed
In Los Angeles, a photographer was killed last night trying to snap pictures of a ferrari believed to be owned by Justin Bieber. Police say the paparazzo was hit by a vehicle after taking photos of the white Ferrari. Emergency crews rushed the photographer to a local hospital where he later died.

Fiscal Cliff Talks
Obama is celebrating after his fiscal cliff win, cutting tax breaks for the wealthiest Americans. The president notes he tried to get a big deal with speaker John Boehner that would have had $1.2 trillion dollars in cuts and the Republican walked away. Though the explosive debate over raising the debt ceiling in the weeks ahead gives Boehner and company a new opportunity to change the sour taste Republicans have over the deal.

Aid for Sandy
It's been more than two months since Superstorm Sandy struck, The senate passed a package last week to provide more than 60 billion dollars in aid to the region. But on Tuesday, the house failed to act before wrapping up this session of congress, House speaker John Boehner said he will make the Sandy aid package a top priority in the new congress. After a meeting Wednesday afternoon, Boehner and house members decided to start the voting process this week.
