Level 3 Sex Offender Arrested in Van Buren

Van Buren Police say Daniel Hill, a level 3 sex offender, was arrested Tuesday morning after failing to register as a sex offender.

 

Detective Jonathan Wear says police were called to the 1600 block of Cedar Street after reports of an intoxicated man, wearing all black was walking down the street.

 

Daniel Hill was not intoxicated at the time, says Wear, but police learned that he was a level 3 sex offender living with in 2000ft of King Elementary, J.J. Izard, and Butterfield Trail Middle School, and that he was not registered.

 

Daniel Hill was booked into the Crawford County Detention Center.
