A new study shows that MP3 players and iPods could be bad for your health.
According to researchers, the number of injuries and deaths involving pedestrians wearing headphones has tripled over the past seven years.
More than half the incidents involved trains, with one third of those cases showing that a warning signal wasn't heard by the people who were hit.
Most of the victims were men under the age of 30.
Researchers say that along with blocking-out noise, headphones can also distract people from what's happening around them.
