A Prairie Grove woman was arrested Monday, accused of illegally accessing a coworker's emails.

Sandra McReynolds was a 20-year employee at Mcbride Distributing when managers there contacted police about suspicions she had accessed business information from another employee's email, then shared that information with other employees at the company.

McBride paid a computer company more than $2,500 dollars to investigate and it found evidence showing McReynolds had accessed more than 150 emails multiple times from the computer in her office.

They found she had also accessed the e-mails remotely from her home.

McReynods turned herself in Monday with an attorney and admitted to accessing the e-mails and mailing the information to other employees.

She was arrested for computer trespassing and held responsible for the cost of the investigation.
