Geetha Ramaswamy, M.D., is an interventional cardiologist specializing in routine and complex coronary artery angioplasty at Washington Regional's Walker Heart Institute Cardiovascular Clinic. She is an area leader in the transradial catheterization approach.
 
She completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Louisville School of Medicine followed by a fellowship in general cardiology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She also completed additional fellowships in both advanced nuclear cardiology and interventional cardiology at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn.

She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Medicine, the National Board of Echocardiography, and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology.
