Joel Carver, MD Interventional Cardiologist

Dr. Joel D. Carver is an invasive cardiologist who has practiced in Northwest Arkansas since 1983. He has special training in pacemaker implants and interventional and
diagnostic procedures.

Dr. Carver earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock in 1978. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at UAMS and completed a cardiology fellowship at UAMS in 1983.

He is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiology and is a fellow in the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Carver performed the first coronary stent in Northwest Arkansas in 1993 and assisted in the firstdefibrillator implant in Northwest Arkansas in 1989.
