Benton County Sheriff's Office is investigating a murder after detectives found a person dead in their Gentry home.

The Gentry Police received a 9-1-1 call around 4:00 a.m. Sunday.

According to the Benton County Sheriff's Office, when officers arrived they found one person dead from an apparent gunshot wound at 19147 Highway 12, just inside the city limits of Gentry.

Sheriff Kelley Cradduck confirmed the two parties involved are husband and wife. The husband is dead and the wife is in custody.

The Benton County Assessor's website lists Evan and Susan Fleck as residents at the 19147 Highway 12 address in Gentry.

Delaware County Oklahoma Jail confirmed Susan Fleck is in custody, on hold for Benton County. They could not confirm the charges.

Investigators say the incident all happened inside the house.

Benton County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant on the house this afternoon and have scheduled a press conference for Monday morning at 8:30 a.m.

The investigation is ongoing.
